hello every one. I am Pema Yangchen, a teacher trainee at Paro college of education. My birthday is on 1st January, 2005 which made me oldest one among the people born in that year. I am from one of the remote dzongkhag of Bhutan known as Trashi Yangtse. my home town is under developed yet we have beautiful dwellers who depends mostly their livelihood on farming.
To talk about my education journey, it started at the age of 5 enrolled in one of the primary schools in my village and i studied their till class 6. The memories of my primary schooling time is very headache where i have to woke up early in the morning and walk to the school for almost 1hrs up. Thinking back that is too tiring and yet i appreciate myself that i had tried and put effort in learning. After completing class 6 i studied in Kunzangling Central school which is our only central school in my gewog and yes i have to study there. For the first time i get excited to be boarder student in school who does not know how challenges the life in boarder will be. however the experiences are like bitter sweet. sometimes life is worth to be in boarder but it even become hard to digest when we missed our home and meals. nevertheless i survived again another year of boarder life in Baylling central School located far away from my village. I have to go there by taxi. life at that school is totally a different where i felt alien to the places and had limited friend. however when life gives you lemon we have to make lemonade, yes i tried and manage however to get in RUB colleges of Bhutan. Finally i am here in Paro college of education persuading bachelor degree of education in primary general.
now let go with my interest and hobbies. I like to read books but i am not book worm. i read book when i feel likely to read and if not i wont touch. sometimes i feel like i have to read a book to improve myself but there is always a mismatch of my thinking and habits. next i like to play football a bit, not a good player.
